our next meeting will be held coming Wednesday, February 16,
5:00 pm. Zhandong Sun (a.k.a. "Sunny") from Debrecen University
will present the highly impactful PHENIX PPG100 paper titled

"Transverse-energy distributions at midrapidity in p+p, d+Au, and Au+Au collisions at √sNN=62.4–200 GeV and implications for particle-production models"

Learn about the Wounded Nucleon Model, the Additive Quark
Model and the Quark Participant Model and their validity in soft
particle production when confronted with data - and why
highly asymmetric collisions are so important!
