Hi Ross,
Thanks for the poster.
A couple of comments below
- I am not sure about adding "spacecharge" in the poster title, since you also address static distortions in your slide 3. maybe just "distortions" ?
- except indirectly in slide 4 you do not provide a magnitude of the expected distortions (static, average and fluctuations). Might be worth adding somewhere (ALICE folks could be curious)
- could you replace the bottom right figure of slide 2 with the
one attached ? This was a remark from Tom that the azimutal
distortions in the TPC cannot have the same sign for all radii.
The same plot is featured in Yeonju's talk and Audrey's poster.
(same remark in slide 4)
Slide 4: the lower plot has poor resolution. Can you get it from the second figure attached (you might need to screen capture the pdf to a more image friendly format)
Slide 5: "scaled by measured IBF gain"
Do I get it right that said measurement is a "prior" measurement
as opposed to in situ ? or are there plans to measure those during
data taking. If the former, then it might be worth adding it,
because it might casue additional uncertainties in the model.
Thats' all I have,
Hugo
