Hi Hideki,

Thanks for this nice draft. Please consider some comments from me below.

Dennis

slide 2 - you might just mention & link to only the latest BUP 2022

slide 7 and slide 9 - these Figures came out a little blurry for me - please check

slide 10 - I would be a little careful here. you write that we can complete the scientific mission in three years (good), but that it is additional running that would “fully" utilize the potential of the detector. you might write instead that “additional runs would continue to recoup benefits from sPHENIX investment” ?

slide 12 - I don’t know if we should call gamma+jet a “Day-1” measurement. It might be “Year-1” but will take some work. Maybe “Flagship measurement”?

slide 12 - “sensitive to hadronization dynamics” - I would just say more broadly “explore parton shower development in QGP medium”

slide 15 - if you have space, you might stress again here that due to the streaming readout, sPHENIX can collect a huge MB data sample for unbiased HF studies down to ~0 GeV

slide 16 - this is nitpicking a bit, but perhaps “flavor dependence” -> “role of parton mass” ?

slide 20 - in fact, the IHCal has now been installed! you could replace this photo with one of the ones circulated by Ed O’Brien a few days ago

Dear all,

I will be giving an sPHENIX talk at SQM2022 next Thursday.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
