Chris-

Nice talk, couple of comments:

  1. Slide 11: Description of iHCal should be the same as oHCal, but replacing steel with AL. Reads as if the fibers are in the Al plates, interesting, but not practical.
  2. Slide 11: Might want to mention that oHCal also serves as the flux return to justify the tilted plate design
  3. Slide 13: MDB, TPOT, sEPD are not shown.
  4. Some where are round slide 13-14 you might want to include a slide that discusses what the actual trigger is, what the trigger rates are that we expect and what the data logging rate is that we expect to handle
  5. Slide 20, or what ever the conclusion slide is should state a more definite time that first collisions are, e.q. spring of 2023?

Looks good otherwise.

Hello all,

Please find attached slides for next weeks RBRC workshop (https://www.bnl.gov/sphenix2022/) for the sPHENIX Overview. The talk is 25 minutes, I believe 20+5 for questions. Any/all feedback is welcome. Two notes if it is helpful:
 * Many slides are currently quite busy - I intend to go thru and animate them so the text is easier to digest

 * There is a placeholder slide after the brief physics section for photos of ongoing construction and installation - I have a healthy number of photos to insert here now but if there are any recent additions (within the last month) please feel free to send

Thank you,
Chris
