Friends,

Prompted by popular demand, we would like to resume an earlier custom and
make announcements of any awards and recognitions received by sPHENIX
collaborators in all career stages a regular part of the collaboration
updates at the General Meetings. To make sure we properly recognize all such
news, and not just those that have already come or been brought to our
attention, we would urge all the group leaders to update us on any recent
developments (e.g. on the timescale since the last collaboration meetings),
and we also ask any other collaborators not to be shy about informing us
about any positive news they would like to share with the collaboration. We
already have a few announcements for the next General Meeting, and would be
glad to add any further news to that list!
