Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 14th workshop on Critical Point and Onset of Deconfinement (CPOD), which will be held online from November 28 (Monday) to December 2 (Friday), 2022:

https://indico.cern.ch/event/1186000/

As previously, the workshop will be strongly focused on theoretical and experimental studies of the transition of strongly interacting matter to a quark-gluon plasma. The program will consist of contributed and invited talks with ample time for discussion. Parallel and poster sessions are not foreseen.

You are encouraged to submit proposals for contributed talks and register participation (no fee is required) on the workshop indico page until September 30 (Sunday).

CPOD enthusiasts will remember that we planned to organize in-person the 13th! workshop in Baku. Initially, it was planned for 2020, but the COVID pandemic forced replacing it with an online version in 2021. At that time, we hoped for a workshop in Baku this year. Unfortunately, this event has not been approved in time by the Azerbaijani authorities, to preserve having a CPOD workshop in 2022 we decided to switch to an online organization. While we are disappointed not to be meeting everyone in person, we hope that the advantages of this online meeting (zero expenses, close to CO2-emission free, ample discussion time) will at least partly compensate the disadvantages of the online format.

We are looking forward to your contributions to and participation in CPOD 2022!

Best regards

Helen for the Online Organizing Committee
