Subject: [Sphenix-l] Helium begins to flow in 1008 Monday October 3

    Dear all,
     We will begin the helium flow through the 1008 cryogenic
    system on Monday October 3. The helium will flow for approximately
    two months while we exercise the magnet and map it. Once the
    helium flow starts both the 1008 IR and Assembly Hall requires
    that one have BNL ODH training before you enter the IR or Assembly Hall.
    The BNL ODH course can be taken online.

    The beginning of helium flow through the sPHENIX magnet is an
    important milestone for the installation of the detector and preparation
    for data-taking.
