sPHENIX is a new detector at RHIC.

Dear sPHENIX Collaborators,

Many things are happening this week in sPHENIX-land!  Work is going on 
at a gallop out at the experimental hall.  The CERN magnet mapping 
fixture arrived and is in Bldg. 912.  Our detectors are built, being 
tested, and awaiting their turn in the intricate sPHENIX installation 
plan.  The first half of the MVTX delivery arrived at BNL this 
afternoon!  You'll have to take my word for it, but here's a picture of

We even hosted a tour for US Senate Appropriations Energy & Water 
Subcommittee Staffer Aaron Goldner.

Lots of activity.  Lots of progress.

But no week would really be complete without a review.  On Thursday and 
Friday, we'll be presenting material to a committee for the sPHENIX "end 
game" review.  This review is meant to assess our schedule leading to 
commissioning with beam in Run 23.

It would be great if we could get a large turnout of sPHENIX 
collaborators for the review to impress upon the committee and the ALD 
just how invested we are in this crucial stage of sPHENIX.
