Hi Dennis,

Very nice set of slides, really like the zoomed view of sPHENIX of slide 4, I will use that one for my talks 😉

About the inner tracker MVTX, we have been making rapid progress in last a few weeks.

Now we have both half-detectors delivered to BNL and tested, they are all in “Gold Status”, meaning >99.99% active pixels.

Attached photo shows the MVTX detectors in the clean tent at BNL.

Hi all,

 

I was asked to give a 15” talk on sPHENIX in the RHIC/AGS “Open Forum” organized on the Friday evening of the DNP meeting.

My goal is to keep it fairly “high level” - just a few highlights on the science, plans, and lots of photos of the detectors and human beings working on them.

 

I would be grateful if detector groups have other suggestions of “action shot” photos.
