This is amazing to see.  The EMCal construction & installation was was possible due to the very hard work of a large number of people at many institutions and over many years.  It is great to see the hardware come together and I am very excited to start taking
 data with it very soon.  Congratulations to all of us for getting to this important milestone.

Here's some good news to start the celebration - the final sector of the EMCal was installed today at 1:30pm ET!  It's a major milestone for sPHENIX and a major testament to the hard work of all the people and institutions that built the innovative W/Sci EMCal blocks, assembled them into sectors, tested them, and then installed them.  And let's not forget all the R&D and the test beam campaigns that preceded the construction.  A big congratulations to us all.
