Hello sPHENIX collaborators,

A quick victory email that John Haggerty and I thought was worth sharing:

Today, pedestal data was taken from the two crates in rack 2W2 (the Inner and Outer HCAL racks) with an external trigger propagated to the IR from the prototype GTM. This exercises the full calorimeter electronics chain with the Level 1 accept traveling it's designed path for the first time, which is a important step towards data-taking... but a lot of steps still remain.
