This is a major accomplishment for our team.
Ming, do we plan on retesting both halves once they are safely back in their crates to be certain nothing was damaged during separation and dismounting?

We have successfully closed two half-detectors on the insertion table and confirmed all staves remain GOLD.

Excellent work from BNL tech and survey team, and of course, the MVTX engineers and staff.

 

Attached is a photo from North End view.

 

Next step is to move the half-detector to 1008 for full system readout.
