Dear sPHENIX collaborators,

More than dozen sPHENIX students and postdocs came out to the experiment yesterday to allow the BNL photographers a chance to snap photos of them at work.  Thanks for responding to the call!  Jessica Rotkiewicz and her colleague David Rahner were out at sPHENIX for about 90 minutes yesterday and I just received this link to the gallery of photos she took:

We recognize that this is only a fraction of the hard-working sPHENIX students and postdocs!  We'll arrange for future visits by the BNL photographers.  And, of course, we're always happy for photos of postdocs and students (and all collaborators) working on sPHENIX at their home institutions.

Besides just capturing good photos of our collaborators at work, ALD Haiyan Gao is on the NSAC LRP writing committee for the chapter on workforce development and she'd like some photos showing how NP is providing opportunities for young scientists.

If you're a student or postdoc working on sPHENIX, come to the experiment a bit before noon on Tuesday!
