sPHENIX is a new detector at RHIC.

Hi folks,

this is for users who try to use a non sPHENIX account to get to invenio 
(https://sphenix-invenio.sdcc.bnl.gov/)

The permission to use invenio is given by the sphenix group id of the 
sdcc account you use to access invenio. Some older PHENIX account do 
have sphenix as secondary group id, you can find it with the "id" command:

[pinkenbu@sphnxdev01 macros]$ id
uid=3075(pinkenbu) gid=31013(rhphenix) 
groups=31013(rhphenix),9986(sphenixdocdbadm),31018(sphenix),31131(rphenix3)

my one has the sphenix group id (31018) and I can use this account to 
get into our invenio. The head of SDCC decided a few years ago that the 
sphenix group id must not be added to existing accounts anymore (I 
argued against this but lost that one) - the only way to get the sphenix 
group id is using a separate sphenix account. Applying for an sphenix 
account is straightforward, you all have guest ids and from your other 
sdcc account(s) the trainings and forms

The group is RHIC, the experiment sPHENIX. For the contact it would be 
Mickey Chiu.

The account creation is rather quick (couple hours during workdays)
