Hi all,

Thanks for joining last week’s PCM and the useful discussion. I have posted some minutes to the Indico agenda page (and also reproduced here below) - happy for any clarifications or follow-ups.

Mickey - MBD calibration/reconstruction
—
Slide 4: are these peripheral events? These are minbias

Slide 5: what is happening for that range of run indices - beam steering, etc.? Will check ELOG to find out.

Slide 2: compatibility with envisioned calo calibration list? Let’s cross-check the lists explicitly.

Timing for pushing changes to production git? Few minor tweaks from Chris, PR likely merged soon. Chris: really want centralized production going.

Where did the stripes in timing information last presentation go? Not an issue here, but trying to understand why they went away.

Do we need to hear from each PPG about desired runs? For Run-23 data, this is relatively straightforward.

Longer discussion on strategies for sub-system dependent QA and forming a combined GRL for next year’s data-taking, thinking about what worked / did not work in 2023. Too much information buried in shift change meetings / ELOG. Need more centralized organization - webpage which expands on information from run control? Sub-systems can do low-level checks, but physics analyses will still need to do high-level QA. Dennis and Anne will consider strategies.

Production tags can encode information about calibrations/QA via database tag. Chris working on this.

We should ask each PPG to have one member attend the PCM.

For the event plane (and to a lesser degree, centrality/trigger), what is the interface between MBD sub-system group and Bulk physics TG? Ejiro can serve as contact for EP aspects.

Joseph - INTT data readiness

What to we mean by “MIP Observation”? Not mandatory for data readiness, although a nice assurance of healthy detector operation and so we are investigating it.

Want to confirm that the main strategy is INTT information in centralized DST production, like other detectors, for analyzers. Yes, getting very close to this. Joseph is bridge to production group - physics will be done with DST production. Some decisions still to be made about what information persists through.
