Hi folks,

this is just a heads up, on Dec 19th will be a major network upgrade in sdcc. There won't be any computing (or access to services like our websites) during this time.

Summary of Outage/Maintenance:

ITD Network Engineering will be migrating the routing and default gateways from
the 515 Science DMZ to the 725 Science DMZ while also upgrading the path between
the BNL Network Perimeter and the 725 Science DMZ to 1.6Tbps (4x400GbE). At the
same time, we will also be moving the HTSN firewalls along with numerous default
gateways from the 515 Science Core to 725 Science Core. These changes will cause
a complete network outage for the BNL Science DMZ and Science Zone (SDCC
facility) for the duration of the maintenance window.
