Friends,

As we approach the holiday break there are a few updates we would like to
share:
- We are pleased to announce that the IB enthusiastically approved Morgan
State University's petition to join sPHENIX. Welcome to the collaboration!
- There will not be a general meeting this Friday, but we will restart the
fortnightly schedule on January 5.
- We have received a number of excellent suggestions and self-nominations for
the role of analysis/physics performance and dataset (co-) coordinators. If
you have any further nominations or are thinking about volunteering, please
send us a note by the end of this week.

We wish everyone a relaxing break next week, after the outstanding work done
in a challenging year, and look forward to starting an exciting and
successful year after the holidays!
