Hi all,
Both PPG01 and PPG03 have just circulated the first sPHENIX potential physics results to the sphenix-l mailing list (see the separate emails sent by Anthony & Emma). I would encourage everyone to read these notes and provide comments in invenio ahead of the collaboration wide discussion on Thursday morning May 30.
Please note that both of these results are intended as preliminary results at this time, not publications. There will be a public supporting note (similar to what CMS and ATLAS do) and drafts of that are what have just been circulated.
Getting these results to this stage has taken a huge amount of work not only by the PPG members, but by the whole collaboration and I'm excited that we have reached this step in executing the sPHENIX physics program.
I will provide a few more details on this process tomorrow in the General Meeting and I'm looking forward to a productive discussion Thursday!
Best,
Anne
