Dear Martin,

I uploaded an image file to the sPHENIX wiki and got the following error.
>Error creating thumbnail: /bin/bash: /usr/bin/convert: No such file or directory Error code: 127
then, I remembered you sent this message about the upgrade of sPHENIX wiki.

The error above is something related to the upgrade which is still underway (i.e we shouldn't edit the wiki yet)?

Regards,
Aki

All,

at long last, we managed to get permission to convert our sPHENIX wiki
(https://wiki.sphenix.bnl.gov/index.php/Main_Page) to be visible in a
readonly fashion from select places around BNL (Bldg 1008 and the
"sPHENIX hallways" in 510) *without authentication*.

We were long aware that this 2-factor, OTP-based authentication
requirement presented a huge hurdle for casual users, such as our shift
crews. In effect, this prevented the use of the Wiki as a place to keep
run instructions and other documentation, especially when accessed from
the operator consoles. We finally got our wish to be able to access the
Wiki un-authenticated.

Write access will still need a login.

The SDCC folks are in the process of moving the content to the
so-visible server. While the current Wiki stays open for business, it
would streamline the move process if we would hold off on changes for a
bit. I didn't get an ETA but it's hours, not days.

I'll send an announcement when you can use the easy-accessible server
(it will be at the same URL).

Thanks, best,

        Martin & Chris
