Dear Collaborators,

We received the information below from the ALD regarding the schedule for the PAC meeting. As you can see, the schedule is quite compressed. We will seek input from the collaboration on how to organize the preparation of the BUP and the PAC presentations - it is not obvious that there is time to squeeze in a full collaboration meeting. Please let us know your thoughts (note that we already protested the lack of preparation time, to no avail).

I am bringing everyone on the same page: PAC dates are now fixed: Nov. 7-8, 2024.

The run scenarios for Run 25 (FY25) to consider:

20-week operation (instead of 22-week guidance because 2 weeks already taken by Run 24)
28-week operation assuming we can extend the run. (I will talk to CAD & EIC about possible a further operation and its consequences).

Timetable for the BUR 2025/26:

End of Run 24 – October 21, 2024
CAD provides guidance for performance by October 28, 2024
Experiments finalize and submit the BUR to me/PAC by November 3, 204.
PAC meets on November 7, 2024
