GSU Nuclear Physics Post-Doc Opportunity 
 

The Experimental Nuclear Physics Group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Georgia State University (GSU) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Relativistic Heavy Ion Physics. GSU is active in the PHENIX, sPHENIX, and ePIC collaborations. GSU has been a leader in the research and development as well as construction of the sPHENIX hadronic calorimeters and related subsystems in ePIC. The postdoc will lead analysis of the recent sPHENIX p+p and Au+Au data which aligns with the existing group expertise on jet, photon and heavy flavor physics.   

 

The candidate must have a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear physics or a related field before starting this position. An agreeable start date for this position will be determined with the successful candidate.  

  

Applicants should submit a CV and a brief description of research experience and interests as well as arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent directly to Prof. Megan Connors (mconnors AT gsu.edu).
