Dear sPHENIX Colleagues,

 

As mentioned during the 185th sPHENIX Fortnightly Meeting, the Spokesperson Election Committee has now been established, and we would like to actively solicit nominations for the upcoming spokesperson election. Please submit your nominations, including self-nominations, to all members of the Spokesperson Election Committee: Maria Chamizo-Llatas (mchamizo AT bnl.gov), Tanner Mendel (tmengel AT vols.utk.edu), Rosi Reed (rosijreed AT lehigh.edu), and Yuko Sekiguchi (yuko.sekiguchi AT riken.jp). 

 

The committee will confirm candidates' interest in standing for election. Nominations are open for both single-person Spokespersons and pairs for Co-Spokespersons.

 

To present the list of candidates to the collaboration at least four weeks before the election, nominations must be submitted by November 18thAdditional nominations after the announcement of the initial list may be added until Nov 29th. Candidates are expected to present their statements of candidacy at the sPHENIX Collaboration Meeting, which will take place on December 12–13th at BNL.
