Hi Rosi,

Thank you for the clarification. 

I guess people from outside the US sometimes have to take shifts three consecutive weeks for one travel to the US, so it would be great if you accept such people to take shifts three consecutive weeks...

I meant three consecutive weeks.  With the shift quota at 2.7 shifts per author, a large fraction of us will need to take 3 shifts.

The sign up database has been wiped for Run 25, so if you did a practice sign up, it will not still be there tomorrow when the sign up starts.  For now, you can sign and remove your sign up as you wish - this will change Jan 20th.

If a particular shifter from your institution is not on the dropdown menu, you can sign up a different person and then email me so I can add them.

Please do not sign up for 3 or more shifts in a row.  I will be checking that all of the shift leaders (especially the owl shift leaders) have the experience necessary to successfully lead the shift.  I will ask people to move around within a given week in order to ensure the safety of both the people and the experiment, and the success of a shift.

Most communications will go out on the sPHENIX-run-l list, please sign up for the list if you are not already signed up.
