Dear Ralf,

Thank you for your email, and for highlighting the challenge Asian collaborators face in our meetings. We also thank Yasuyuki who also suggested to us to have the GM time shifted to an earlier slot for similar reasons.

This is a common challenge for collaboration crossing global time zones. In the GM today, we planned to discuss this challenge (though with limited direct input from collaborators who can not make to this meeting). 

In the meantime, we would like to also organize a discussion with our Asian collaborators for an optimize for a solution. Details to be followed.

Dear Megan and Jin,

congratulations on becoming Spokespersons. I am looking forward to your
tenure. This change in leadership presents also a great opportunity to
stop the discriminatory practices toward people being in east Asia. I
would suggest to have two alternating meeting times for general and
physics coordination meetings to accommodate every member of the
collaboration at least half of the time. East coast morning and early
evening times would for example be useful to many.
