Dear sPHENIX collaborators,

PPG-07 would like to announce the circulation of the conference note for the preliminary release of the "Measurement of Transverse Single-Spin Asymmetries in π0 and η Meson Production in √s = 200 GeV p↑ + p Collisions with sPHENIX". Please send us your comments using the comment function within Invenio.

The Invenio entry for the CONF-note is: https://sphenix-invenio.sdcc.bnl.gov/records/kge19-tq160

Please note that a new version of the IAN will be uploaded this evening US time. Since version 1.0 of the IAN, the analysis has been updated and these changes are reflected in the CONF-note v2.0. The most prominent changes are: a) the trigger selection was changed to using photon triggers only; b) the bins pT<3 GeV are excluded from the preliminary analysis since there are still not fully understood systematic effects; and c) the systematic uncertainties now include the so-called bunch shuffling estimating the size of possible instrumental / non-statistical effects.

Best regards,
PPG-07 Analysis Team
