Thank you for all the work that went into the plots and event displays that we showed in the PAC meeting today. sPHENIX had a fantastic showing. Please see Abhay's email below about the strategy to keep the PAC informed moving forward.

We just finished the executive session. A very quick summary. Please inform the collaborations. There will be no close-out.

 

Thank you all for excellent presentations at the PAC today. It’s great to see that the machine and both detectors are working well and taking data.

 

You (each experiment) will each hear from John Harris and the PAC in the next week or so with specific questions to prepare for the next PAC meeting.

 

The next PAC meeting is envisioned sometime in September or early October. In order to decide on the exact date, other than the PAC member’s availability, I think it would be good if the experiments and C-AD produces a 2-slide summary every two weeks – on TUESDAYS starting today. Please send such two-slide summary to me and Christine Immel and we/I will send this to the PAC. Next report should be on July 1.

 

Other than is, the PAC wished us all the best to continue running and taking data.
