I asked the Cryo group last week whether they can give us the 'tag' names to
the Jim Jamilkowski so that we can have them in LogView (or Gpm) etc. But
Roberto said that they're too busy (with CeC) to do this for us. I had
thought it's just a matter of giving the names sPh_TT1785H to Jim (as they're
already in the Cryo Control system) ... but maybe it's more complicated ??
Right now, you can only go to check :
http://130.199.104.195/web/cryo.html
which is behind C-AD firewall and it requires IE (the only supported browser).

In principle, there are 2 stages. Now, we're using LN2 to cool the Helium
(in some controlled manner such that
the temp. gradient is < 40K) and when it get close to 80/90 K or so, they'll
change to a different manner.
But right now, it's quite slow ....Roberto hinted that it might be faster
later ???

Kin,
Well, I enjoy the news and appreciate all the work that's gone into this from
you and cryo and the magnet division.
I looked through gpm--but I guess the temperatures aren't visible there so
PHENIX shift crews could amuse themselves. Do I get it right that 250K to 4K
at 0.57K/hr is 430 hr or 18 days?
Thanks to everyone who has made this possible.
