Hi,

After some communication (after some miscommunication),  Tom Tallerico told me that Richard Meier is on vacation and Richard will come back
next Monday and disconnect those temperature sensors from the Junction Box (= doghouse or triangle) and label them in some orderly fashion.

Piyush told me that Sonny will come back tomorrow (Friday Apr. 29) and he can disconnect those voltage taps etc. (plus whatever he's installed).

From the message below from Carter, they've disconnected the strain gauge stuff.

Dave Phillips told me before his vacation that the electricians next week will take care of those (electrical) cable trays etc.

Kin

Hi Kin,

I just went over there to see what you were talking about and I have my Electrical Tech disconnecting those right now He doesn’t expect it to take more than an hour. I still see the “BX” in the cable tray. The electricians haven’t been there yet for that.   —Carter

Dear John,

I wonder whether you've got a chance to disconnect the strain gauge cables inside the junction box ??

Hi kin,

I don’t feel qualified to disconnect any wiring that other groups and techs have carefully installed and documented.  At some point we will have to reconfigure all connections so it would be best to have the same people that initially completed the wiring to disconnect them in the most advantages way.  I will handle the plumbing, main power leads and mechanical connections.  Perhaps I should have been more clear.

Regards,

Ray

Hi Ray,

Thanks !  Are you helping to disconnect those temperature sensors, voltage taps and strain gauge etc. ?  Or you're telling other people to disconnect the ends inside
the junction box ??

I cc: to Richard, Sonny and Carter, just in case.

Dave told me last week that the electricians will help disconnect/disassembly/take away the electrical stuff next week.

Kin

Good Morning All,

Thanks Steve, The triangle is now opened up and clear to have all relevant electrical wiring:  temp sensors, voltage taps, strain gauge etc. connections disconnected.  Everything except for the main power leads.  We will address this issue just before the valve box is actually lifted off of the solenoid after the four helium lines are separated.

Regards,

Ray

Hi Dave, Kin, Stephen,

We will be busy working on our test facility Monday but if the scaffold is clear to use Tuesday (4/26), we will start work on getting the valve box disconnected from the solenoid.

Regards,

Ray

Ray,

The scaffold for access to the dog house (same as before) will be installed Monday.

If you are going to use it let Steve Pontieri (x5575 cell 834-7044) know the day before so he can do the daily inspection.

I’m on vacation next week.

Dave
