Hi,

Thanks to Ray Ceruti and I’ve zipped the 5 photos he’s just sent me now here :

You can see that the Extension is inside Al heat shield and connected with doghouses/junction-boxes at both ends. I understand (?) that the 30 layer MLI is also in place (though not shown in photos).
