Hi,
(1) This morning, Carl Schultheiss, Tom Tallerico, Rich Meier and I went to 902 to talk with Sonny et. al. The locations of a pair of temperature sensors at each side of the extension were decided. Which are just to be connected with the un-used connections (in the low-field test) as R. Meier/T. Tallerico told us. We saw Sonny’s voltage tap layout and add the missing ones on the “flex” that Carl wants.

(2) T. Tallerico told some pictures around the ends of the Cryo Extension which I’ve put here : (3) I’ve just taken a picture of the return steel construction :
One can see that a ll 12 vertical steel pieces are installed and so is a 2nd
horizontal steel layer on one side.

After the low field test in Mar. 2016, Sonny told the two racks with computers back to Bldg. 902 (from Bldg. 912) but he left a half-rack which had resistors for some voltage taps,
connectors and many cables etc. He and I couldn’t find it this afternoon in Bldg. 912. D. Phillips doesn’t know where it’s. Maybe Paul Giannotti took it (as I vaguely remember it) ?? I’m checking with him. But if anyone knows, please tell me, could
you please ? Kin |
