I think it will be ok with a hole in the platform for the cables and another short piece of tray on top.

I’ve just taken a picture underneath the newly installed second staircase :

There you may also see the cable tray built from the Cryo Rack to the gap between the two concrete blocks which would be covered by the wooden platform. I’ve showed it to Paul Orfin and R. Than. Paul thinks it is probably OK for us to drill a narrow hole through the platform but he’ll know for sure once the Valvebox is installed. M. Rau has agreed to work around it.
Please let me know if anybody doesn’t like this “hole”.
