Sorry that I haven’t finished point 7 before I accidentally hit a wrong button.  So, let me finish pt. 7 :

7. For the External Review on the Cryo system (tapping into RHIC), I showed the charge again in the meeting which is :

To determine whether the cryogenic system design seem technically sound, in regard to capacity,  operational capability and flexibility, cryogenic safety, cooldown control and sufficiency of cryogenic interlock signals (for magnet protection).  Nobody has wanted to make changes to it.

Up to now, Pasquale Fabbricatore and  Y. Huang (Fermilab) have agreed to review.  John Haggerty is asking Wes Craddock.  Ed O’Brien suggested we also George Ganetis as it’s his original suggestion for an external review for the Cryo system.

The proposed dates are Jan. 4 or 5, 2018.

1.      Ray Ceruti told us that he’s going to trying to do the leak check with the help of Steve Gills (C-AD vacuum group).  He’s hoping that it’ll be done this week.
Paul Giannotti has checked all the strain gauge signals at the new junction-box.  We’re asking Richard Meier to check all the Cryo signals at the junction-box
as soon as possible.

2.      Ray also told us that he doesn’t need to go into the Magnet (from the Non-Lead End) any more.   So, Jon Hock can try to close the roof steel.  Whenever he
does that, the Cryo guys will need to leave the top platform.   Jon Hock estimated that he’ll be able to finish closing the end-walls on Nov. 9, 2017.  There is a
chance that we may need to leave a ladder inside the Steel box if we can’t get the ladder out.

3.      Carl Schultheiss and Zeynep Altinbas with the help of technicians (Fred, Ralph, ….) are doing the test.  [  Actually we had another meeting at 3 pm after this Magnet meeting
with Jon Sandberg, P. Rosas et. al. to further discuss the test. ]   With Carl, we decided to move the DAQ/quench-detector Rack to Bldg. 912.

4.      Paul Orfin told us that he still thinks they may be able to finish the all the Cryo assembly ~3 weeks from now.   So, with all the above, we collectively
agreed that we’ll target the safety walkthrough on Nov. 17, 2017.  And the cool-down will start after Thanksgiving, which is Nov. 27.

5.      Paul Orfin asked that we should try to get a power outlet as soon as possible for them at the top platform.  Paul Giannotti will talk to Mike Rau.  Talking with PK, he told me that this would happen soon anyway (as it’s at the last stage…).

6.      Paul Orfin and Roberto Than told us that they still haven’t fixed the capacity problem of their plant.   They’re a few things and will test it again in a couple weeks and hopefully the problem will be resolved then.

7.      For the External Review on the Cryo system (tapping into RHIC), I showed the charge again which is :
