Hi,

 

More than 2 hours ago, just before 5 pm, Ed Dabrowski called to let me know that he's completed the work for the

support stand (for the copper bars connecting the 535 MCM cables & Current Leads) and he's connected all the

MCM cables and the voltage taps.  I immediately sent a text message to Mike Lenz to let him know and he told me

that he'd come to install his box tomorrow morning (Friday, Jan. 19, 2018).

and typed this message from our PC in 912.

 

Mike may finish installing his box tomorrow or he may need to finish it on Monday.  We shall see ....

 

Since the Cryo group can't get the "return to the Plant" mode (which may allow us to run continuously) to work,

they have in principle done their test today to see how long they can keep temperature cold at 4.x K and how long

they need to refill ... I haven't heard anything yet and I'm going to ask them.

 

In the Wed.'s meeting, if Mike can finish, in principle, we can try to flow some current to the Magnet for various

interrupt tests etc. on Monday, etc. etc. ...  We have to finish putting up the 5 G line and get some signatures ....
