Hi Mike, I guess when I found and saw the yellow frame on grass, I was subconsciously furrowing my eyebrows. We're looking into this. Kin On 09/17/2018 01:33 PM, Anerella,

What is the value of the sPHENIX Project? How well does the detector work without the superconducting magnet? It’s hard to imagine the decision process which led to depositing in the weeds the support frame intended to safeguard the final shipment of superconducting magnet to the experimental hall. Surely there was a corner somewhere onsite indoors. The Annex to Building 902, for example, is nearly empty.

Hi Dave,
I have just found the original yellow frame/shipping cradle in the (what you call ?) RHIC storage yard in the middle of the grass. I attach a photo.
