  1. Piyush Joshi came to tell us that though Sonny Dimaiuta had come back, Sonny and Joe D’Ambra are busy with the works testing the LHC Magnet.
Apparently, Joe will be busy until May 22nd when he’ll start his vacation.   ( Fermilab will send somebody for LHC testing when Joe is away. )  Joe will
be back on June 5th, 2019.  The agreement is that Joe will come to help us on June 6th, 2019.

Carl volunteered to provide a technician to help Joe.   Piyush (as well as his SMD colleagues) likes that 😊    Piyush/Sonny (after the meeting) suggest
that the technician that Carl will send should try to pick up a bit of what Joe is doing.    ( Joe is retiring.  Though SMD has advertised for 4 tech jobs, only
3 people applied so far after ~4 months. )

  1. Paul Orfin told us that for the Cryo Helium project procurement, he’ll finish his drawing this Friday.    In the meantime, he expects that Phil Bernath in
the procurement group will work on his paperwork to send out the bidding.   Paul heard from Phil that he would need 2 weeks to finish the bidding
paperwork and Paul had the impression that around May 20, Phil may be able to send out the bid.   I’m checking with Phil about the date.

  2. Mike Anerella told us that they could do / finish the simple design for the Extension support this month (May 2019 !) as the job is not too difficult.   He

also raised the question again about whether we wanted to rotate the doghouse/extension from the top to the bottom.    During the discussion, we
didn’t have any reason to rotate it.  The consensus is (again) that we don’t rotate it and leave it like the present situation for transport.
