Hi,

I’ve placed Paul’s complete set of drawings for the Valvebox Extension supporting brace here in the Magnet webpage :

https://collab.external.bnl.gov/sites/sPHENIX-Magnet/Pictures/1008/2019-9-3%20Extension%20Supporting%20Brace%20Drawings.zip

Dave Phillips has ordered those “hardware” (screws, nuts …) using his credit card and we’ll give them to Ray Ceruti to do the assembly.

Paul told us that we don’t need “grade 5” nuts (as specified) and Dave has ordered “grade 2” ones 😊

Kin,

Here is a complete set of drawings for the brace.

The fabrication is complete, but there is some hardware required for assembly prior to installation:

4 ea.    3/4-16 jam nuts, McMaster-Carr p/n  94846A540  $8.89/ pkg of 20

4 ea.    3/4-16 hex nuts, McMaster-Carr p/n 95463A540  $13.90/ pkg of 25

4 ea.    3/4-16 x 2-1/2 socket head cap screws,  McMaster-Carr p/n 91251A046  $3.93 ea.

4 ea.    Spherical rod ends, McMaster-Carr p/n  60645k18, right handed threads,  $13.31 ea.

Either you can order them or I can, but if I order them I’ll need a number to charge the order to and the name of the person to send the requisition to for approval.
