Dear Kin,
This helps to identify which white pipe has which service or bus.
What we were asking but I think the audio was not good, is whether th3 535 MCM cables we saw were AC or DC. I would not see the connection except to flags on one of the cabinets.

It would help to discuss what is involved in these tasks to "Pull and Terminate AC/DC power cable and signal cable" in
Activity 303400  in 1008 B
Activity 303500  from 1008 B to 1008 IR
Activity 303400  in 1008 IR
i.e. what of this is AC power and control cable for the power supply or other parts of the control system
There is a total of 1400 hour labor on those three activities

I think the water cooled bus termination is covered under
activity 304500-304800, which addresses the 1008 B and 1008 IR ends.
Thanks, Glenn

Hi,

Maybe, I couldn’t hear you too well in Bluejeans …

We are making use of the existing water-cool-bus (WCB).  They exist from the west wall to the 1008B terminals.  In the PDF (which I attached but it’s from our site https://brookhavenlab.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/sPHENIXMagnet/External/ETmMAsNPjO9PsIvK14YchgUB73ZbTezdfe_s_Y_ho-1bTQ), at the right-bottom, you see

the WCB terminals (2+ 2-) being connected to the 535 MCM cables.

I took 4 of Paul Giannotti’s old slides in the powerpoint where you can see the existing WCB.

What is left is the WCB from the west wall to the magnet platform to be connected to the Magnet (the last bit is also by 535 MCM cables).

Kin
