Schedule has been changed to lift the Magnet tomorrow. See below !
Kin

Team We've been able to gather enough resources to lift and land the sPHENIX magnet tomorrow morning. Aaron will get the assist from CA-D technicians and the riggers. There are a couple more signatures on the CLEF but that should all be in place before the end of the day. The space in the 1008 AH is tight and we want to keep the area safe and with enough room for the riggers and technicians to work. The contractor is also still working on the IR to prepare for concrete pouring next week. If you are not participating in the lift and land of the magnet please wait until after lunch to come down to 1008 to take a look. Russ

Team With people out on vacation through the long weekend, and because we are waiting for final approval of the CLEF for the 1008 AH lift and land, we should plan to land the magnet on the oHCAL cradle on Tuesday 10/12. Frank, Aaronnnn, Carter, and the CA-D survey team have put a lot of work into preparing for landing the magnet by setting up the magnet pads and alignment tools. Thanks also to Ray for getting the magnet tension features set. We will need rigging and survey for the lift and land on Tuesday. Russ
