Hi Ed,

We knew this. The current plan is that after the grouting finishes, Frank will get help (C-AD riggers) to take away the scaffoldings

around the magnet on Thursday so that he can remove the door of the doghouse on Friday. And Carl and a tech from Superconducting Magnet

Division can do the hipot and voltage-tap testing on Monday (Oct. 25).

    Hi Kin and Frank,
     The outside contractors are pouring grout for the track
    reinforcement today in 1008. I'd prefer to wait for a day
    later this week when we can keep the 1008 roll-up door down all
    day and not have a lot of dust-generating activities in 1008, before
    taking the tarp off of the magnet and opening the doghouse door.

     I presume that we'll find a "clean" time to do this later in the week. Thanks.

can do the electrical test on the Magnet. I’ve just arranged Carl to have quick training about the Fall Protection this Friday with Mike Gaffney so that he can ride on the “lift”

to do the test with Piyush’s technician. I hope it’ll all work out ….

I believe that we want to make sure that the test is successful before we proceed to install any other sPHENIX components.
