Hi,

Dave Nace II (Cryo) should have finished installing the two thermal sensors at superconducting busses that read 30 K in the high field test, by the time this email is sent. Tomorrow, I understand that Nils Danielson and John Moore (Cryo) will come in to finish the rest of the connections and tested their channels (at the Valvebox). ( Nils has promised to send me an email after he finished tomorrow. )

The plan is that on Monday, Ray Ceruti can install the cold-bars (etc.) before 10 am and then Carl Schultheiss can do the hipot afterwards. Ray may close up the Doghouse after that.

For the audience at home, I include a picture of the platform in which you can see that the IP8 coldbox has been lifted and installed there. Many people came to watch the lifting of this gigantic equipment. It took two trials to lift it to the platform as it was ~4 inches too tall at the first time.
