Hi,

For now, I’ve put two versions of our quench detection codes here (the old one was the one that we used in 2018 High-Field test) :

Chung Ho and Charlie Theisen will put the codes into Windchill … I put it here for my convenience.

Carl Schultheiss will do his calibration using the working new codes (after re-enabling V9-V11  and V11-V20 taps, instead of V9-V20 as V10 and V11 were bad in 2018 and we added new V11 taps).

The main thing is now the installation of water-cooled-buses (WCB) from the West Wall of  1008-IR to the Current Leads, which would involve short runs of 535 MCM cables between the West Wall and

WCB, and between WCB and the copper flags (A) in front of the Current Leads.  From the flags (A), we use “braids” to join the  flags (B) which are attached directly to the Current Leads.

( Braids are used in RHIC when joining the gas-cooled leads.   Carl, Don Bruno and Jon Sandberg are big fans of braids 😊 for their flexibility etc. )

After the WCB etc. are done, we can do hipot again and then the short-circuit power supply test (and a couple other electrical tests), then we may start cooling down the magnet --- which is the plan.
