Hi,

The following email is to ask the Control Group whether they have some got any pet pages (or whatever) for the Magnet temperatures.

But it includes a screenshot of one of the pages of the Cryo HMI (which Roberto helped me to get access to and the Cryo group doesn’t

want too many to get access to this page as there have limited no. of ports).

Dear Joe and Peggy,

Roberto told me that you in principle should have all sPHENIX Magnet temperatures (etc.) in your database.

Do you have a pet page or something already set up ?

I have a screenshot from their HMI (that one needs to use Internet Explorer and only Internet Explorer) after Roberto helped me to get to it.

By the way, in the future, after we pick one temperature, we may show it in

https://cadweb.bnl.gov/dashs/Operations/BroadcastWeb/BroadcastMain.dash , right ?

Kin,

The database is already setup between cryo controls and MCR to pass sphenix cryocontrols variables.

Not sure whether we are 'live", everything is ready.

Joe Piacentino and Peggy H. will need to setup the PET page or whatever you want.

Hi Roberto and Chintan,

Is it  possible to make a temperature of the our Magnet shown up in
https://cadweb.bnl.gov/dashs/Operations/BroadcastWeb/BroadcastMain.dash ?

I guess we don't know which thermos-sensor we want to show yet --- as there are a few choices and we're not which is really good.

But it's possible (eventually), right ?

I understand that currently, for the ring, there is a special software which you get to see the temperature of the RHIC ring.
For the Magnet, you have to use the HMI in internet explorer.  I don't think anything is available in the GPM.

Kin,

You might ask the controls guys whether they could add a measurement of
the sPHENIX solenoid temperature to the cryo tab of the C-AD dashboard:

https://cadweb.bnl.gov/dashs/Operations/BroadcastWeb/BroadcastMain.dash

so people could see for themselves what the temperature is without us
always making screen shots fro gpm.  Just a thought.
