Hi,
Today, we ramped down the Magnet for Carl and the CAS to check the Watch Dog Timer connection in the Quench Detector Rack and the Magnet Power Supply respectively. ( It took quite a lot of time to have the paperwork yesterday to open the Magnet Power Supply as it’s connected to ~480 V. )
They didn’t really find anything wrong but they tightened the connections nevertheless.
>105 minutes after the magnet current ~0, I took a picture on the Current Leads. There was minimal iceball.
<~15 minutes after the Magnet reached top current, I took another picture. The iceball has grown bigger obviously, but not yet as large as I’ve typically seen after the Magnet had been on for weeks. So, I guess it took time for it to grow and I guess it’ll reach the
I attach both pictures.
