Dear MVTX and HF groups

 

Given many progresses made at reshaping the MVTX proposal and HF programs, we would like to propose a QM18 talk, joining contributions from both the MVTX detector group and the HF topical group. A draft is prepared here:

Besides the oral presentation, we also encourage multiple posters to support this talk. A few poster title has been proposed in the above document. Please feel free to volunteer for these topics by commenting on the draft. New poster topics are very much welcomed too.  

 

We plan to finalize the proposed title and abstracts, then send to Gunther’s Dropbox Paper next Monday (Dec 4), which allows three days of further adjustment in the collaboration-wide document.

As discussed at the last GM, we need to prepare abstracts for our QM 2018 contributions in the next week (abstract submission deadline is 12/11). We have prepared a dropbox paper to collect proposals:

Please add any proposals to this page by next Thursday, providing title, abstract and at least one possible presenter

for posters. In particular, topical group conveners and L2 managers should organize abstracts for their respective groups within the next week.

We will finalize the abstract selection at the Santa Fe meeting and then submit the abstracts

centrally to the conference. We will only select the presenters after we hear back from the organizers, but in particular for the posters we would like to know that their is at least one possible presenter for each submission.
