sPHENIX MAPS tracker discussion

Dear All,

I have a number of follow-ups to the slides I showed yesterday.  Because there are associated plots, I've put the discussion in the attached slides.  To briefly summarize:

1) I fixed an error in the calculation of the phi resolution, which leads to considerably larger numbers than previously, but seems consistent with the correction.  I believe the values I reported on Oct17 are closer to reality than Oct10

2) The Z resolution is probably consistent, given the dependence of the RMS on outlying events.  I'll change to using gaussian fits so these have less impact.

3) There is a possible effect of the mismatch between extrapolation radius and g4hit radius.  This is corrected in my local copy of the kalman fitter, and will be reflected in the next iteration.

4) Macro/generation speed:  The macro Molly and I have been using can be found in /star/u/rcorliss/sphenix/macros/macros/g4simulations/G4_Tracking.C .
