Hi all,

A quick update on a game plan for the MVTX telescope Test Beam at Fermilab.

We are STILL waiting for final words about the FTBF schedule (as of last Friday)!

Our current plan is to stay with the recent update plan to take data in the week of May 20. (if we get beam every other week).

  1. We have assembled 4 staves inside the telescope box. We will connect the staves with the final cables and test them tomorrow Monday;
  2. Take cosmic ray data in next a few days to exercise the offline/online code;
  3. Test the negative pressure cooling system in next a few days.
  4. The goal is to have the full system tested by the end of this week, 5/3.
  5. Plan is to ship the Telescope to Fermilab on/or before 5/8(Wed), they should arrive at Fermilab by ~5/15.
  6. Pre-installation checkout at Fermilab, ~5/15.
  7. Take data May 20-24 (if FTBF delivers beam)

Stay tuned.

Cheers,

Ming
