Hi Ming,

It is OK for us to run with 5GeV e-beam for a few hours.

Hi all, cc’d Mandy and Evan,

As of today, we are pretty much ready for sPHENIX MVTX 2nd test beam run next week.

Telescope system was set up in MT6.2C, and passed ORC and tested on Monday. Nice work done by Cameron, Gerd and Fermilab techs! Sho fixed some minor leaking issues of the cooling system today, thank you Sho!   A new readout mode is developed to use 4-stave telescope to study tracking/hit efficiency vs strobe delay, good work by Sho, Alex et al. At LANL, we have successfully integrated external laser and MOSAIC test bench and taken initial MAPS parameter scan runs with adjustable trigger delays. More scans for MAPS operational optimization will continue for next a few days.  Zongze has developed multiparameter scanning code to simplify the operation, nice work! Our current plan is to start data taking from the evening of 6/19 to the end of the run. The goal is to crosscheck laser scan results (optimized MAPS parameter sets) with test beam data (laser beam tuned ~ MIP, but needs confirmation). If OK with INTT and TPC run plan, we would like to take more 5GeV e-beam data for MVTX stave material budget scan near the end of the run (~ a few hours should be good).

Cheers,

Ming
