    Dear all,
     I completely agree with Ming's assessment of the review.
    The MVTX review had a very positive outcome.
    I'd like to especially thank Ming and his team, as well of the sPHENIX
    Project team, for making this turn out well. You all produced a very
    comprehensive set of talks and project documents that convinced the
    review committee that we can begin this project after addressing a few
    reasonable recommendations. Congratulations and thanks to all
    who contributed.

Dear all,

As Ed expected below, we did receive very good and positive MVTX Cost &
Schedule Review report at the Closeout, thanks for everyone's hard work that made
this review a success.
The final report should be available by the end of this week.

The committee also suggested to update the PMP to address a few technical
details regarding KPP, UPP, contingency etc. by the end of August, and we
will work on them in coming weeks.

As presented in the review, the project starting date is in September, Ed and
I discussed to have a phone meeting with DOE late Aug/early Sept to get all
the paperwork ready in time;
In the meantime, BNL is providing some early R&D fund for MIT/LBNL engineers
to work on a few critical issues related to carbon structure design and
production.
