Hi all,
FYI, I expressed our interest to have ~2 weeks beam time to check out 8-stave
MVTX telescope with 120GeV primary proton beam and also some secondary beams
(e, pi, K) at lower energies.

The earliest date would be ~ Nov/Dec this year.

We hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy in these unusual
times. We missed seeing all of you with the abrupt end to the FY20 test beam
run. We are starting to gather information for the FY21 beam run but there
are still a number of unknowns. Right now we are expecting beam to return to
FTBF in November or December. The shutdown is expected to be completed on
the original schedule and the Accelerator complex will descope the
maintenance if needed to not prolong the shutdown, but they also will not
finish early. We have not been told how long the FY21 run will last. Our
technical staff should be returning to FTBF this summer to prepare the
facility for users. We are still understanding how social distancing and
safety guidelines will impact routine operations in the fall.

We are not ready to formally schedule groups until there is some more
clarity on the FY21 run plan and safety guidelines, but we would like to hear
from all of you so we can start planning in order to accomodate all groups as

We understand there are many unknowns at the moment and you may not have
clear plans. As we gather more information we will reach out for scheduling
later in the summer.
