Hi all,

since many of will attend EIC meeting this week, this Friday’s bi-weekly canceled.

 

Here is a brief summary of MVTX status and what’s happening this week:

1. Stave production making good progress, at a rate of ~3staves/week
2. Cold plate production started at UT-A and also at a local shop in Los Alamos, waiting for some parts/material
3. Had sPHENIX AC/DC power distribution review this morning, went well for MVTX  
4. Mechanical system – finalizing design, preparing for vender selection – engineering meeting tomorrow, 2PM/BNL
5. Readout – good progress with GBT-SCA and SWT slow control development – more details at readout discussion tomorrow @12noon/BNL
6. TB analysis – started target data analysis, - TB analysis meeting tonight @8:30PM/BNL
